10th House of Representatives to Host Legislative Security Summit in Final Quarter of the Year

The 10th House of Representatives has announced plans to hold a high-level Legislative Security Summit in the final quarter of this year. This summit is part of the House’s commitment to addressing Nigeria’s pressing security challenges.

As part of its 8-Point Legislative Agenda (2023-2027), with security as Agenda Two, the House has outlined a series of legislative measures aimed at supporting government efforts in combating insecurity.

Since its inauguration, the House has focused on implementing proactive legislation and enhancing its oversight activities, according to House Spokesman, Rep. Akin Rotimi, Jr. The summit is expected to further strengthen these efforts and drive meaningful solutions to Nigeria's security concerns.
