Apple Unveils Miami Worldcenter Store, Showcasing Innovation, Sustainability, and Accessibility

Apple has officially announced the opening of its latest retail location, Apple Miami Worldcenter, set to welcome customers starting Friday, January 24, at 10 a.m. Situated in the vibrant downtown district of Miami, this state-of-the-art store aims to redefine the shopping experience, combining convenience, sustainability, and accessibility.

Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Retail and People, expressed excitement about the new store, saying: “Miami is a city with a history, culture, and life all its own, and we are thrilled to capture that energy with Apple Miami Worldcenter. This new store brings Apple values to life in every detail, while celebrating the creativity of the city with an incredible lineup of in-store sessions. Our team can’t wait to welcome customers and share exceptional personal shopping and support experiences like only Apple can.”

Built using regionally sourced mass timber and low-carbon materials, the store reflects Apple’s commitment to environmental sustainability. Operations are powered by 100% renewable energy and are entirely carbon neutral.

Apple Miami Worldcenter prioritizes inclusivity, featuring universal design principles such as adjustable table heights, wider navigation routes for wheelchair users, and hearing loops for customers with hearing aids.

For the first time in Miami, Apple introduces a dedicated Pickup area, allowing customers to buy online and pick up in-store with ease.

To mark the opening, the store will host exclusive Today at Apple sessions, including community events and business-focused workshops in partnership with local organizations like Influur.

Customers can explore the latest Apple products, including the iPhone 16, MacBook Pro with the M4 chip, Apple Watch Series 10, and the newest AirPods models. A team of over 150 Apple specialists will be on hand to provide personalized support, product advice, and information about the Apple Trade In program and monthly financing options.

Apple Miami Worldcenter marks Apple’s 10th store in Miami, further strengthening its ties to South Florida. Apple’s ongoing partnership with Miami Dade College highlights its commitment to education and workforce development in the region, benefiting learners of all ages.
